Scuba diver uses inhaler prior to diving.

Scuba diver uses inhaler prior to diving. Scuba divers must have unobstructed air flow in order to equalize internal air pressure or run the risk of barotrauma, including ear and sinus squeeze, and air embolism (or other barometric trauma), which can result in death. Inhalers, although medically helpful only temporarily eases the problem. Since scuba diving is thought to bring on more asthmatic and allergic symptoms, making it more difficult to breath, it is suggested that divers with severe allergies and asthma do not attempt scuba diving.
