The alpha female grey wolf of Yellowstone National Park Canyon pack, known as 926F to researchers and Spitfire to the public, hunts in the sage brush of the Lamar Valley May 5, 2018 in Yellowstone National Park, Montana. Spitfire was shot and killed outside the park boundaries by hunters on December 4, 2018.
