A heavy short double-barrelled gun, Schlegelmilch in Oedenburg/Hungary, circa 1830. Heavy, side-by-side Damascus barrels with smooth bores in 17 mm calibre. A gold-inlaid signature on the sighting flat. Beneath the barrels a latched folding bayonet with a broad ridged blade. The lock plates have gold inlay and engraved oak leaves.
