This T H Robinson Double Blade Reciprocating Planking Saw was made in 1887 in Rochdale, England, It was originally used on the Greythwaites Estate in Cumbria and was driven by a water wheel in a sawmill. This machine was originally used to make coffin lids. It has now been restored.
