Lamplugh asked whether the Authors had found anypebbles of the porph3Tite in the Old Eed Sandstone, as he believedthat Mr. McHenry thought the point of importance. Mr. Gardiis^ek, in reply to the last-named speaker, stated that nopebbles of the coarse porphyrite had been noticed by the Authorsin the Old E-ed Conglomerate which occurred on the island. Quart.
