MH-60S Knighthawks, attached to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9, transport ammunition from dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) to the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during an ammunition on load, Sept. 26, 2022. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications and workups for a scheduled deployment this fall.
