This breed does not graze well on rough land, or where pastures are poor, but they feed well, and rarely ])ecome patchy. (6) Beef Qualities. They mature early, and the quality of the meat is rated a little ahead of that of the Shorthorns and Ilerefords, and nearly equal to.
