The close conjunction of the waxing crescent Moon near Venus in the evening sky, from the Storm Mountain viewpoint on the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, on July 15, 2018. The mountains to the west define the Continental Divide. The Bow River and the CPR tracks wind off into the distance. This is a 5-exposure HDR blend using Adobe Camera Raw.
