It is seenthat the illumination in the poorest parts is now betterthan in the best parts before the change was made as thereis now much more uniformity. Page 31 shows the differencein power consumption, there now being required only about40% of the power used before. The light is whiter and print can easily be read anywhere on the stage withouttiring the eyes, as the illumination is much more satisfact-ory and more pleasing.
