The evening of our second day outwe camped at Redfish Lake, a beauti-ful body of water resting at the footof one of the high peaks in the Saw-tooth range, almost entirely surround-ed by forest clad mountains. Early the next morning, after break-fast of bacon, flapjacks and coffee, we,my two companions and I, took a lunchand decided to climb to the top of thepeak. Skirting around the western side otthe lake we flushed a flock of Richard-son Grouse that were feeding on somesmall berries. Here we separated planning. I took the ridge of a hogs backthat bordered the lake and was slowlywalking, observing the beauty, whenI noticed that a flock of Chickadeeswere following me and immediatelydecided to see if I could photographthem. I sat down on a log and waited
