The plant is of free-branching habit, flower- ing early, profusely and continuously throughout the season, producing its flowers on stems 3 feet long, and which_ after cut- ting, keep in perfect condition for duys. They measure 4j to 6 inches in diameter, and early in the season are an intense rosy-crimson :ipped with white and having a white band ound the disc.
