06/09/22 Commission MccLi0000634 Assigned The hydrogen bus is refilled from a temporary hydrogen tanker which holds enough fuel for the two-week project. A hydrogen fuelled Toyota bus is put through its paces as part of a two-week evaluative test in the Peak District. A zero-carbon mobility and travel hub will operate from the site of Gateway at PEAK Resort, a £120M project where 250 lodges and a 200-room hotel is being built on reclaimed opencast mining land near Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Within three years a fleet of between 10 and 20 hydrogen and EV tourist buses will link the resort to a variety of hubs and experiences in the National Park.
