SUTTON'S EARLY "GOLD ; As its name indicates, this is the early Tomato for profit. It is indeed the best of all for color, shape, size, quality and productiveness. Mr. William Sutton of Gloucester County, N. J., from whom we have obtained our supply of seed, found it growing among a field of Livingston's Beauty about seven j'ears ago. He has been growing it since, both as main and early crop. His neigh- bors pronounce it a veritable " gold mine, owing to the fact that it out- yields and outsells all other early sorts sent to Philadelphia markets. Fruit is of a beautiful rich cardinal-red, extra large in size, smooth, and the size of the fruit is maintained to the end of the season. It is a re- markably good shipper and fine keeper, being very solid and firm. It is the earliest of the large, smooth sorts, and cracks and rots less than the average Tomato. The quality is peculiarly fine and it is decidedly the" best early Tomato for the market gardener or amateur ever grown. Pkt. ioc, y2 oz. 25c, oz. 40c, Yi, lb. $ NEW MISSISSIPPI MODEL. This excellent new variety comes from Silver Springs, Miss., the most famous tomato-growing section of the United States, and is a cross between the well-known Livingston's Beauty and the Early Bermuda.
