McCarthy displayed attractive windows, but particularly, beautiful was the window of the Lewis Flower Shop. The idea was symbolic of home. The center of the window was oc(!upied l)y .a miniature thatched house, surrounded by a lawn, made of moss. A driveway, flanked by two white entrance posts, with tiny lights on them, cut through the yard. A bed of spring flow- ers, a liedge of Chatelaine begonias and a small pool, overhung by ferns, put the finisliiiig touches on the scene. In the evening a miniature moon hung just above the house. Altogether the ar- rangement was well done and gained comment from the public. G. H. BALTIMORE, MD. Needed, Cooperation! Till' following paragraph appeared in (in(> of our local })apers last week and explains fairly well the condition of the )>re Kaster market. But I wonder if it is not a mistake to have such an article appear in an evening paper just one week before Easter. What will the flower buying public think when they inquire about the Easter prices? Will they think they are being fooled and that the florist is advantage of the holiday season? Would not local cooperative i>iiblicity solve the above problem ?
