On this charge the Governor was convicted, 43 to14. Two Judges, Hiscock and Miller, who found himguilty on the first two charges, voted not guilty onthis, but Werner, Chase, and Bartlett, together withthree Senators, changed to the other side. The courtunanimously dismissed all the other charges. By avote of 43 to 12 it removed Sulzer from the Executiveoffice, but unanimously refused to disqualify him fromholding office in the future.^^ So Murphys threat to punish Sulzers disobediencewas fulfilled.
