Alcibiades came back to Athens (as seen here being welcomed by his fellow Athenians) and then won a naval victory in 410.
Alcibiades, an Athenian statesman (c. 450-404 ), was a leader in the struggle against Sparta in the Peloponnesian War. He later promoted the Sicilian campaign and was accused, probably falsely, of sacrilege and called home for trial. He fled to Sparta, then to Persia. He came back to Athens (as seen here being welcomed by his fellow Athenians) and then won a naval victory in 410, but the Athenians were defeated at Notium by Lysander, who then ordered murder of Alcibiades, who was then in exile in Phrygia.
