Here again, through the kindness of the lady whosegift had already gladdened the hearts of the lepers inother places, I was enabled to give them a littlefeast which they immensely enjoyed. When wewent down to the Asylum at the time appointed, wefound all the lepers, except old Jaggama (whoseportion was taken to her hut), seated in a large semi-circle with their plates and drinking vessels beforethem. Grace having been sung, Miss Hatch, togetherwith two of her young Bible-women, and David andhis wife, were soon busy dispensing liberal portionsof rice, curried mutton, &c., which were eaten witha relish that a dyspeptic gourmand would have noticed several untainted children sharing t
