The cupboard consists of a lower and upper cupboard that are separated from each other by means of a top that protrudes on both sides. The base unit consists of an open block with three drawers at the bottom, an open part in the middle and a drawer at the top. The three drawers contain marquetry in the form of irises and water triple and have tractors of gilt bronze in the form of butterflies. The top drawer has a keyhole in the middle. The legs, cut into stylized leaf shapes, merge into the fluted side pillars. A second style has been applied along the side posts. This is parallel to the side post at the bottom, but bends outwards from the center to the ends of the blade. The space created is filled with sculpture in the shape of a flower on a stem with leaves. The wall cabinet consists of a display cabinet with two doors. Each door consists of a window whose pillars are cut into flowing shapes. At the four corners of the wall cabinet are posts that end at the top in stylized leaf shapes. There are two semicircular shelves on both sides of the upper cupboard, the left one being lower than the right one. Behind the shelves there is a flower-shaped sculpture on a stem with leaves over the entire length of the upper cupboard. The leaves protrude over the entire width of the board. The back wall of the wall cabinet contains marquetry in the form of flowers, plants and leaves. On top of the cupboard rests along the rear and the sides a hood that has been cut away in several sculpted dragonflies., Émile Gallé, Nancy, c. 1900, oak (wood), fruitwood, ash (wood), elm (wood), rosewood (wood), gluing, h cm × w cm × d cm
