On June 6, 2022, Col. Joshua Demotts, 99th Air Base Wing incoming commander, assumed command of the 99th ABW at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The 99th ABW wing provides installation support for more than 10,000 personnel assigned to Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, and the Nevada Test & Training Range. Two groups are assigned to the wing: the 99th Mission Support Group and the 99th Medical Group.
