Under the supervision of the faculty, it makes the rulesfor the government of the women of the university. Representation is on thebasis of two members from each dormitory and sorority house. Girls residingin town also elect representatives. S. G. A. inaugurated the Big Sister move-ment three years ago. Its care of the incoming Freshmen girls has been moreefficient each year. 139 mirage:. A. was organized to co-operate with the Department of Physical Educa-tion for women. It encourages a higher physical efficiency and a greater spiritof democracy. Points in the association entitle a girl to rewards ranging from a monogramedsweater to her class numeral. Points may be won in basket-ball, hiking, swim-ming, bowling, tennis, track, and dancing, Twenty-five points are the require-ment for membership in this organization. 140 M I R A O Li.
