Wataru Sato, watches as Japanese coastguard divers search for victims of March2011 tusnami, in Kesennuma, Japan


Wataru Sato, aged 63yrs, stands by the waters edge in Kesennuma harbour as nearby divers and ground crews of the Japanese coast guard search underwater in the harbour for the bodies of victims of the March 11th 2011 tsunami, in Kesennuma, Japan, on Tuesday 14th February 2012. Sato's sister, Kiyako KOMATSU, 68, died in the tsunami, along with her husband and one of their sons. Their other son survived. They were on their way to a wake for one of her husband's relatives when they got caught up in the waves, according to Sato. He said that eight of his cousins, who lived in one of the worst-hit parts of Kesennuma, also died.
