The point was well taken. Demmond had laidoiF his town as West Juliet. He scorned the idea of being an addition to that slough over yonder. West Juliet was not then, part of the county an escape from the dilemma was quickly found. The school section ad-joined the town on the south, lying on both sides of the river, and this had beenrecorded as an addition to Juliet.
