1940 40s forties American Chevrolet GMC Master De-Luxe Coupe 5700cc petrol 2dr en-route to Capesthorne Hall classic May car show, Cheshire, UK 1

Steel-bodied Chevy bright red color looks amazing thanks to a two-stage paint job and high-gloss finish, and everything from the chrome trim to the glass has been replaced for a flawless appearance. The body gaps are all perfect and even the undercarriage is show-ready with red paint on the body and a high-contrast black paint on the chassis. The lowered stance and 17-inch chrome wheels finish off this Chevy's custom look. Inside, there's even more to enjoy with tan leather bucket seats, power windows, air conditioning and stylish Dolphin gauges, while the car's bright red paint job carries over into the interior on the dash and steering column. Even the trunk of this car is impressive with fully finished trim to match the cabin. Under that long, red hood sits a 350 CID V8 as well as an engine compartment that is show-ready as the rest of the car. The engine has an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI distributor and long-tube headers, and power is sent to the rear tires through a 700R4 automatic transmission and a 10-bolt Chevy rear end. The chrome engine accessories and valve covers finished with complementing red fins add a nice touch under the hood, while the Nova front subframe makes this car more of a cruiser with power steering and power disc brakes. The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe are American passenger vehicles manufactured by Chevrolet between 1933 and 1942 to replace the 1933 Master Eagle. It was the more expensive model in the Chevrolet range at this time, with the Standard Mercury providing an affordable product between 1933 and 1937.[1] Starting with this generation, all GM cars shared a corporate appearance as a result of the Art and Color Section headed by Harley Earl.[1] From 1940 a more expensive version based on the Master Deluxe was launched called the Special Deluxe. The updated corporate appearance introduced a concealed radiator behind a façade with a grille.
