Wilson, of Kenton, who is distinguished not onlyfor the honored ancestry from which he is descended but for his finerecord of service as a county official, and for the substantial position hehas attained among the leading agriculturists of this part of Hardincounty. He wasalso one of the nine men from the Keystone state that signed the Decla-ration of Independence. John Wilson, Sr., served under General Wayne in the war of subsequently came with his family to Ohio, settling as a pioneer inHolmes county.
