The Arch of Santa Maria is the most noble entrance out of those providing access to the old city of Burgos in Spain

The Arch of Santa Maria is the most noble entrance out of those providing access to the old city of Burgos. In the 16th century it was remodelled by Juan de Vallejo and Francisco de Colonia. It looks like a castle with two big towers. The triumphal arch presides, built in honour of Emperor Carlos V, the image of Santa María la Mayor.
