Brooklyn Coast Guard Combat Photographer in ETO. Coast Guard combat photographer and correspondent Sidney J. Goodman, of 708 Empire Boulevarde, Brooklyn, , has the tables turned on him as he is snapped while preparing to "shoot" the inscription on a tablet in the ruins of Pompeii. Goodman is serving aboard a Coast Guard-manned troop transport ferrying men and materiel across the Atlantic for General Dwight Eisenhower's disposition in the Battle of Germany.
