A boulder erected by Newtonmore Shinty Club to remember Dr Johnnie Cattanach and to make the naming of a second pitch at The Eilan, home of the club.


Dr Johnnie Cattanach, born Newtonmore in 1885, died at Gallipoli in 1915. In 1909 he scored 8 goals in the Camanachd Cup Final for Newtonmore, which still stands as a record to this day.
