The final sentence of History Will Absolve Me by Fidel Castro
'History Will Absolve Me' ("La historia me absolverá" in Spanish) was the conclusion to Fidel Castro's four-hour defence speech made on 16 October 1953 against the charges brought after he led the attack on the Moncada Barracks in Cuba. Following the success of the Cuban Revolution the speech was printed in book form with these words as its title.
