NORFOLK (May 16, 2017) A Sailor stands watch on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier as USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) as it sails past the Nimtiz-class aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), USS George Washington (CVN 73) and the Ford-class aircraft carrier Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) at Naval Station Norfolk. Dwight D. Eisenhower is underway conducting engineering drills as part of the sustainment phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
