"Se Bryck" by Amy Cooper, Tremenheere Scupture Gardens, Penzance, Cornwall, UK

Made to reflect ideas about community and joint ownership. Now with a view of St Michael’s Mount and on the pilgrim route of St Michael’s Way, the work also represents fruition of a journey. The name comes from the Cornish; Se meaning seat or throne and Bryck meaning brick. The work challenges our preconceptions of what we see as domestic, familiar, comfortable in everyday life.
