A legless amputee Vietnam veteran in a wheelchair talks with locals at The Wall That Heals, a traveling half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial started in 1996 by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund on display in Laguna Niguel, CA. A 53-foot tractor-trailer transports the 250-foot wall and converts to a museum at each stop, showing letters and other items left at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. Note police horseback riders.
