Eachstudent cuts and makes for herself a full set of under-clothes. Senior are given talks on colors and materials used,and taught to draft and cut from patterns. Each studentcuts and makes for herself a dress. Cooking : — Three and a half months. Course of Instruction. Making and care of fires, dish washing and care ofkitchen, talk on fuels and foods. Baking apples, potatoes,etc., boiling vegetables and eggs, steaming. Lessons inbuying meat. Cooking of meats, warmed over dishes,soups, broiling and stewing. Simple and invalid and cookies, bread, plain cake, plain pastry. Cook-ing of poultry, fish, and eggs. Tea, coffee, cocoa. Setting table. These lessons are accompanied by instruction in of cooking so far as it applied in the practicalwork. Laundry Work. The course is intended to give to every young womanin the school a practical knowledge of laundry work that willbe of service to her in her own home or elsewhere. Course
