William WTaylor, in the Emergency Campaign of July, 1863. *The militia of the State of Pennsylvania was re-organized by Act of As-sembly dated April 7th, 1870, and by a supplement to the Act of 1864, as theNational Guard of the State of Pennsylvania, and thereafter the regimentalcommands were numbered serially.
