Maj. Cari Piha, 535th Airlift Squadron instructor pilot, conducts an all-female C-17 Globemaster flight training mission around the Hawaiian Islands March 25, 2021. Women from the 535th Airlift Squadron conducted an all-female flight in honor of Women’s History Month celebrating the contributions of female airmen. Women first entered pilot training in 1976 and currently make up 21 percent of the Air Force.
