Micromus haleakalae (Perkins, 1899) This is the same name for two hawaiian species described by Perkins, 1899 in different genera. One was originally described as Nesomicromus haleakalae and the other as Nesothaiima haleakalae. According to TjEDER, 1961 both genera are synonyms of Micromus. When transferred to the valid genus, they were seen to be different species with the same name (MONSERRAT, 1990b). To resolve this.
