View WSW of the main chamber of Vinquoy Hill Neolithic chambered cairn, Eday, Orkney, showing entrances to the western pair of side chambers (note the shared lintels & differing heights of the two entrances). The passage enters the main chamber from the lower (S) side & there is another pair of cells with shared lintels at the E. The tomb is constructed using rough sandstone blocks rather than the more usual Orkney flagstone which gives a smoother appearance.
