It was from the Kennedy House that Andre started out on his ill-fated journey to meet Arnold; and after the=^^on, Arnold was quartered in the Bowhng Green Building, then a tavern called The Kings Arms. Daniel Webster lived at t. L. Barnum and Jenny Lind boarded at the Stevens House, Nos. 21 to 27. This block now occupied by the new Steamship Row
