London, UK. 9th September 2017 Protesters sit on the road at the Festival of Resistance in a Quaker meeting against DSEI Arms Fair to block lorries entering with arms. The Defence & Security Equipment International, backed by the UK government, is where arms companies and arms dealers sell weapons to countries around the world including many repressive regimes. The road at the East Gate was blocked by a lock-on by two protesters and others including this large group holding a Quaker meeting sat in front of them. Police later tried to clear the road and made several arrests including the two in
