The totalcapacity of the boiler plant is about 1000 h. p. and spacehas been left in the boiler room for the installation ofanother 500 h. p. battery as soon as the increased sizeof the shops makes it necessary. The grates under theboilers are the Martin rocking and shaking design, fur-nished by the Martin Grate Co., Chicago.
