Periodical test drillsare called for from both night and day squads and the resultsfrom the fire department of the railway company have been ex-cellent. At one time a dwelling house near a car house caughtfire and the railway shop squad reached the house and put outthe fire before the city fire department, located on the next lot,got under way.
