Southampton Civic Centre Clock Tower (built 1933) celebrates Isaac Watts. Isaac Watts was a prolific hymn writer - the ‘Father of English Hymnody’. Born in Southampton in 1674. .Every day the bells in the tower play Watts’ hymn ‘O God, Our Help In Ages Past’.
