Port of Oakland. Satellite image of part of the Port of Oakland, California, USA. North is at top. The port lies on the inner shores of San Francisco Bay (waters at left), on the US Pacific coast. The ports are at centre, lower left and bottom centre. Outer Harbour (upper left) and Middle Harbour (bottom left, shore being converted to a park) are seen. Oakland Estuary and Inner Harbour are not seen. Major road and rail terminuses are at lower right. A major motorway junction (top right) joins to Interstate 80 and the San Francisco Bay Bridge (top left). The area shown is some 3 kilometres across.
