Marine Corps Body Bearers, Bravo Company, Marine Barracks Washington , fold the National Ensign during a funeral for Master Sgt. Catherine G. Murray, ret., at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Jan. 23, 2018. Murray was the first enlisted female Marine to retire from active duty after serving honorable for nearly 20 years. She enlisted in 1943 and first served her country as a motor transport Marine during World War II.
