A marker indicates an area cleared of unexploded ordnance (UXO) by LMAG at the Plain of Jars in Xiang Khoang, (Phonsavan) Laos.

A marker indicating an area cleared of unexploded ordnance (UXO) by the Lao Mines Advisory Group (LMAG) serves tourists well at the Plain of Jars archeological site in Xiang Khoang, (Xieng Khouang, Phonsavan) Laos. The United States reportedly dropped some 90 million cluster bombs on Laos during Second Indochina War. These bombs had a reported 10 to 30 percent failure rate, which meant that millions of them as well as many larger bombs hit the ground and remain unexploded.
