The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It first rotated in 1999. Also known as the Millennium Wheel, this has become one of the Britain's most popular tourist attractions. Here we see it at night, beautifully illuminated, as always. On the right we see County Hall - originally the Headquarters of the London County Council and the Greater London Council, but now converted into a hotel complex.
