It was in no small measure due to the repre-sentations made by these delegations that the price of cheese was eventually givena substantial raise in price. In 1918 Mr. Snetsinger organized the farmers of the district in the interest ofthe United Farmers of Ontario, and is at present President of the St. AndrewsBranch of this organization. HISTORY OF THE CORNWALL CHEESE AND BUTTER BOARD ALLAN MATHIAS SNETSINGER. A LLAN MATHIAS SXETSIXGERwas born in 1861 in the village ofMoLilinette, Ontario. He is theeldest son of the late J. G. Member of Parliament for Stor-mont. Mr. Snetsingers mothers maidenname was Margaret Irving. He is anAnglican in religion and a Liberal inpolitics. Mr. Snetsinger is and has been engagedas a general merchant in Moulinette forfive years, succeeding his father in busi-ness. He takes a keen and active interest A. M. SXETSIXGER in farming and is the owner of severallarge, well-stocked farms in this sectionwhich he personally manages. The milk from over 150 cattle on thesefarms is delivered to the factory of theMoulinette Dairying Company, and theLake View Factory at Mille Roches. Duncan H. McKenzie, has been associ-ated with both the late J. G. Snetsinger andMr. A. M. Snetsinger for nearly a quarterof a century, and has taken an active inter-est in both the commercial and dairyingbusiness.
