A most striking contrast to this terrible incident will be foundin the following case, when, thanks to the ability and firmness ofDr. Dolan, of Halifax, I was able to save a valuable life:— Late on the evening of February 16th I received a telegram 456 ILLUSTEATIVE CASES. from Dr. Dolan, of Halifax, to proceed at once to that town tooperate upon a case which he believed to be one of ruptured tubalpregnancy.
