An Indian chilanum, Deccan, 17th century, Double-edged, riveted wootz Damascus blade with central ridge on both sides. Hollow bronze grip in pre-Mogul form engraved with floral ornaments and studded with silver rivets at the base of the blade. Length 43 cm.
