A memorial slab of the Manx crew overlooking Douglas on the Isle of Man, Britain. The crew served under Lord Nelson during the battle of Trafalgar 1905 The island is independent of Britain and not a member of the European Union. It has the status of 'crown dependency', similar to Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands But its inhabitants are British citizens. The Isle of Man is world famous for its annual TT motorcycle races and also it is the home of the rare cat, the Manx Cat as it has no tail.
