Restored New Zealand railway workers cottage at Reefton, West Coast, New Zealand. The cottage was moved in 2008 to its present site and was originally at Mawheraiti some 15 km south of Reefton. The house was build using a standard New Zealand Railways plan in 1939. It was one of two at cottage is available to rent for holiday use. It has been modified to facilitate this. The railway lines are within a few metres of the cottage. The line is used to transport coal and the noise of the locomotive is quite loud in the cottage, especially during the night!
